Phenibut, also known as Phenybut or Fenibut, came from its own scientific name which is Beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid. Phenibut has been widely popular in the United States as many people claims that this acid works as an efficient dietary supplement although Russian experiments has already cited that Phenibut is more of a neuropyschotropic drug as it bears the ability to improve and develop a wide range of neurological functions. Since 1960’s, Russian has been using Phenibut as a form of medication to cure various ailments such as anxiety and insomnia to name a few. Phenibut is said to be highly addictive which therefore requires a prescription from a therapist before consumption.
